GE food has benefits?
by Yas on 01 January 2001 @ 06:17 PM

Recentlt I was watching a special on the local Channel 2 (ABC) news in Atlanta, GA. THey were weighing the pros and cons of GMOs. A biotech expert claimed that pumping extra vitamins, vaccines, and anti-allergens in fruits and vegetables can help the health of humans. I was shocked. A farmer said that the land wasn't harmed, and that mass production can end hunger. Bottom line, it was the first story that was covered in Atlanta about GMOs, I thought that the pros outweighed the obvious cons, especially to someone who isn't aware the health hazards. Is there any way of clarifying the issues? Thanks.

Hello Yas,
I`ve seen your post about GMOs and I do agree with you about the lack of information the news give to the subject, but if you want to inform people, I suggest you try to search on hotbot.com; thelancet.com; greenpeace.org; etc..., print what you consider "relevant" and then display the real truth (at least in your community). It has worked with me.
