still shipping it!
by shazam on 22 December 2000 @ 07:51 PM

If this does not show stupidity and selfishness, what does? Through Greenpeace's hard work, and the Governments of the Caribbean nations, and Panama, shipments of nuclear waste through the caribbean were halted, only to make way for an even more ill-advised passage like this. What is wrong with these people? I think it's unlikely that this will be stopped, esp. with Britain involved, and fewer countries in the firing line.
We have no choice but to try though. In the meantime, let's watch...and pray.

Stop to shipping the nuclear waste. Indonesia is the largest ocean area, I don't want my light blue sea become a black toxic ocean.
