Care For Our 2-mile World
by Agapito Velez Obando on 30 April 2004 @ 05:57 PM

Yes, our livable universe bounderies consist of 2 VERTICAL MILES (of air). Everything that feeds us and support our way of life is within this range, there is no such thing as an infinite amount of resources. Our atmosphere is extremely dinamic in the sense that all gases sooner or later will eventually dispersed affecting any remote part of our planet.
I am afraid that any moment some small event will trigger a massive cataclism which is exemplified by the Chaos Theory.
I would like to change people perception of our world as a small confined area within the sea level and 2 miles up.

That is a good idea, Agapito Velez Obando. For many years here in the United States of America people act as if they can petition their elected representatives in order to change their reality. These people have been acting this way for many generations, for so many years that too few have enough respect for what is, and too few really believe that change can happen in any other way.
